About uEngage

Uengage is a B2B SaaS platform in the Indian food tech space. Our core product, uEngage Edge, helps restaurants run their own direct ordering channels (app, web, kiosk) independent of aggregators like Swiggy and Zomato.

Job Role:

This is the founding design hire. You will own the entire design process, from doing user research to setting up processes and systems that will eventually shape the products.

We need someone who takes charge, identifies problems independently, and owns the UX research.

What you'll do:

•       Own end-to-end product design for uEngage Edge across app, web, and kiosk

•       Set up design systems, research processes, and engineering handoff workflows from scratch

•       Make design decisions grounded in business metrics

•       Work directly with Product and Engineering without task-level direction

Requirements:

Must Have

•       3–5 years in product design

•       Experience setting up design processes

•       Strong Figma proficiency -  components, design systems, prototyping

•       Portfolio showing end-to-end product thinking, not just UI skins

•       Consumer app experience (food tech, e-commerce, or marketplace preferred)

•       Can articulate design decisions in terms of business outcomes

•       Uses AI-assisted design tools to accelerate wire framing and prototyping.

Nice to have

•       Experience with restaurant or food ordering products

•       Has hired or mentored designers before

•       Familiarity with analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar)

•       Experience in B2B2C product environments

•       Experience designing AI-augmented user experiences
